This policy explains what Anime 010 does with your personal data when you visit anime010.com or place an order. It is written to be read, not to be skipped. If anything is unclear, email info@anime010.com and we will answer plainly.

Who is responsible

Anime 010, Rotterdam, the Netherlands, is the controller of your personal data. Contact: info@anime010.com. Registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 89229479.

What we collect, and why

When you place an order

We collect your name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number if you give one, the items you bought, and the payment method used. We need this to make the contract work: to pack the parcel, to hand PostNL an address, to send you a confirmation and an invoice, and to handle a return or a warranty claim later. Dutch tax law requires us to keep order and invoice records for seven years.

We never see or store your card details, bank credentials or PayPal password. Those are entered on Mollie’s own secure environment.

When you create an account

An account stores your name, email address and saved addresses so that you do not have to type them again, plus your order history. It exists only because you asked for it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

When you use the contact form

We receive your name, email address and your message, and we keep the correspondence for as long as it is useful for handling your question and any follow-up. Nothing you send through the form is used for marketing.

When you simply browse

Our server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser) for security and troubleshooting. We also use Jetpack Stats from Automattic to count visits and see which pages are read. It reports aggregated numbers — how many people looked at a product, where they came from — and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.

We do not run Google Analytics, we do not run a Facebook pixel, and there are no advertising trackers on this site.

Cookies

Cookies on this site fall into two groups:

  • Necessary. WooCommerce sets cookies to remember what is in your cart and to keep you logged in through checkout. Without them the shop cannot function, so they are always on.
  • Measurement. Jetpack Stats sets a cookie to avoid counting the same visitor twice.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the necessary ones will break the cart.

Who else processes your data

We share data only with the parties we need to run the shop, and only what each of them needs:

  • Mollie B.V. (Netherlands) — processes your payment.
  • PostNL (Netherlands) — receives your name and delivery address to deliver the parcel.
  • Hostinger — hosts this website and its database.
  • Automattic (Jetpack) — visitor statistics, the contact form, and security protection against login attacks.
  • GTranslate — translates page text in your browser when you switch language. It receives the text on the page, not your order data.
  • Google — receives our product information for Google Shopping. This is catalogue data: titles, prices, images. No customer data is sent to Google.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens it is covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

Marketing

We only email you about marketing if you asked us to. Every such email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Order confirmations, shipping notices and replies to your questions are not marketing — you receive those because you bought something.

How long we keep things

  • Orders and invoices: seven years, because tax law says so.
  • Account data: until you ask us to delete the account.
  • Contact form messages: up to two years.
  • Server logs: a few months at most.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. Email info@anime010.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.

Deletion has one limit: we cannot erase invoices that we are legally required to keep for seven years. Everything else can go.

If you are unhappy with how we handled your request, you may complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or to the supervisory authority in your own country.

Security

The whole site runs over HTTPS, so everything you send is encrypted in transit. Access to the shop’s administration is restricted and protected against automated login attempts. No system is perfect; if a data breach ever affects you, we will tell you and the supervisory authority as the law requires.

Children

This shop is not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes we update this page and the date below. Significant changes will be mentioned on the site.
